ShamWow Infomercial

Recently I started seeing this Infomercial for a product called ShamWow. It is by far my favorite Infomercial of all time now. The guy is just crazy, and the product is just WOW! ShamWow is this cloth that holds a ton of water and is supposedly better then any other towel you can get. It's made in Germany and you know the Germans make great stuff. Then of course you know Olympic Divers use it (Wait... WHAT?!) The product practically sells itself!

Check out the Infomercial and the Parody below it. What is your favorite Infomercial? If you have a youtube link go ahead, link it up!

The Papa Johns FAIL!

When it comes to delivery pizza in my area Papa Johns is the best. The pizza is always delicious and normally the pizza is always delivered in a timely manner. The one problem I have with Papa Johns is they have a small delivery area.

In September my boyfriend Grant bought a house that is kinda far out from Brandon but not that far out. We ordered from Papa Johns and the website said that they delivered to the area. We then got a phone call from the store claiming that they didn't even though we had seen the truck go farther down the road from the house. We were like ok cool we will order and pick-up. Then we got an e-mail stating that they did now deliver to the area. We were super excited! So we called ordered a pizza and again they claimed not to deliver to the area. This time we said we got the e-mail and they delivered the pizza. We continued to order pizza and they kept claiming we weren't in the area. We ordered pizza a bunch of times. At one point we were unable to order off of the website. It was odd it was like they locked out the account. So I created a new account and ordered a pizza last night. 5 minutes later I got a call from the manager who rudely told me they would not continue to deliver to our area that we were out of the area and we would have to come pick up the order. I told her that it would not be necessary and to please cancel the order. Her tone and attitude were so rude I actually got on the Papa Johns website and left a complaint.

After that whole ordeal I ended up ordering from Dominos and according to their website we were not in the delivery area either. So we went and picked up the pizza. I walked in by myself and walked up to the counter. A guy was working who well I can only say he looked like he was from Pearl. Totally nice guy though... for the most part.

I walked up to the counter asked for my order and I saw his eyes wandering downward. I looked down and realized my shirt had become unbuttoned on accident. ACCIDENTAL CLEAVAGE! When he turned around I quickly fixed the problem. When he came back he saw I had clearly zipped up my jacket all the way and then asked "Hey honey let me see your shirt there" I was in such shock that he said that I started laughing!!!!! And I pulled the collar out and showed him it was purple HA!

I got my pizza and then decided to ask "Do you happen to deliver to *insert Grants Address here*?" He then said "We do but you have to call you can't order it on the Internet. Actually hun if you had called me I could have given you a deal, But then your man might have gotten upset." Where I said "Oh hun he would have been furious!" He then said the skeeziest thing eva "You gonna come back to see me? Maybe alone next time?" I then laughed and started backing away... Then he said "At least bring a friend!" "Ok... Thank you!" and then I left.

I then realized thanks to accidental clevage we can now get pizzas delivered to Grants house. So, what started out as a crappy night of fail and no pizza turned out to be a win.

I will not order a pizza again from that particular Papa Johns ever again though. But I do recommend Papa Johns normally over any of the other delivery pizza joints.

Anyway that was my lil rant on that.

Whats your favorite Pizza? And do you have a Pizza Fail moment?
Keep It Real,

My Favorite iPod Touch Applications

On November 30th (the day after my birthday) I got an iPod Touch. I fell in love with it instantly, it was tech-love at first sight. If you already have a phone and have no need to connect to the Internet immediately and you can wait till you get to your favorite coffee house that has WIFI or a Krystal, or if you are on a budget (like me) and can't afford the iPhone and the monthly bill, than maybe the iPod Touch is for you.

I got the 8GB iPod which is a good amount of space but really not enough for me. My suggestion is to get the 16GB if you can and of course if you can afford the 32GB which is $399 then go for it. The 8GB is a nice size and I can put my favorite music into playlists and it works out well. The only negative is I can't fit all the music I want with a full length movie. Although, I am able to fit my Podcasts on with my music and it works great!

One of my problems with space has to deal with the Applications. I have become an application whore! Already I have filled up 4 pages of applications and then had to take some off because I wasn't able to fit my podcasts. Yeah... you could say I have a problem.

Of course I downloaded and used the popular ones that many of you know about, but then I have also dug around trying to find some others that have caught my eye.

One of the things that I have found on the Application store on iTunes are these e-books for the iPod and they are free. A few of them also have the audio attached with the application so if you are driving you can listen or you can listen and read. It's a pretty neat idea. At first I wasn't sure how I was going to read a book on a screen of that size but it ended up not being bad at all. So, if you are a big reader this might be something you want to look at. They also have an Amazon e-reader and you can download e-books and read them right on your iPod.

This is not a favorite application more of one that I found interesting. If drinking is more your game then maybe the Last Call Application is right for you. Last Call is an Application that tells you if you are to intoxicated to drive home. When you type in your weight and sex and then what you have been drinking as you go throughout the night, the application tells you if you need to get a ride. The great thing about the application is that there is an INTOXICATED button that takes you to a page to find numbers for Taxi's etc. in your area and lists their numbers.

Of course talking about Applications we can't leave out Twitter. I have tried a few different applications for Twitter that are Free (I try not to spend money on any apps and all the applications I've listed so far are free). So far the best FREE application for Twitter is Twitterfon. It has a clean look and you can easily switch to your main feed, to your @ feed, and to your Direct Message Feed. And there is a search option and an easy way to post photos. The one negative I have found is that it does not do retweets. Which is something I find very important in an application. I hope at some point they incorporate this into the application.

GAMES! I love games, and I love games on my iPod. So far I've downloaded a few silly Christmas games and then a few others. Some were free some cost me a few bucks but they were worth it in the end. Many of the games that do cost money have demos that are free so you can test it out before you spend the dough.

The first game I downloaded was MonkeyBall. I am a huge fan of MonkeyBall on the Game Cube and DS so when I heard there was a version in the App store I had to have it. It costs $7.99 but it is a lot of fun. I think this was the way MonkeyBall was meant to be played.

Another game that is going to cost you some money, but is totally worth it is Wurdle. I am a Wurdle addict. My High score is 2295 and Wilmas is 2440 (if you were wondering). This game is scrabble like and you create words by connecting the letters. Definitely a must have.

Some of the other games I have grown fond of that are free are Labyrith, Space Buster, BubbleWrap, Tap Defense, Penguin Lite, Topple, and iBowl.

The iPod Touch really is the "Funnest" iPod ever. I love mine and have found so many uses for it.

The amazing thing to me about the iPhone/iPod Touch is how it has created new Social Networks through Applications. More to come on this in a later post.

For now Keep It Real and Happy Holidays :)

PS
To all my friends if you are trying to think of the ultimate gift for me an iTunes Gift Card would be the awesome! hehe ;)

It Snowed!

It snowed this morning here. I haven't seen snow like this in a long time. I was very excited so I decided to go outside and play in it. Unfortunately all of my friends were either on the other side of town or at work so I was by myself :( It was still fun though.

I also went sledding on our flexible flyer saucer sled. It was fun till I sled into a puddle.

Finals Week!

It's that time again, FINALS WEEK! Yep, yep, that time of the semester where I bury my face into a book and research.

I have already completed 1 final and I have 1 more to go plus like 3 articles, 2 papers, 3 projects and a portfolio due all next week and tomorrow.

I'm a busy bee right now so if you don't hear back from me that is why. I may be MIA till the end of next week.

Anyway Check out the vid and see you all in a week. Hopefully I'll be able to edit some vids I have and do a few posts I haven't been able to do. Later friends!
