All Eyes On Oxford

Tonight all eyes, not just around the Country, but around the World, will be on Oxford Mississippi for the First Presidential Debate. At 11:00am EST Senator McCain announced he will be at the debate this evening. The topic of the debate tonight is Foreign Policy, but last night Tom Brokaw, said that avoiding the topic of Economics would be impossible since both topics really go hand in hand.

McCain said earlier this week that he would not attend the debate unless a solution had been made on the Economic Crisis. As of yet there has not been one made and last night Washington Mutual (WAMU) collapsed and was taken over by Chase. Things are getting worse and worse with the Economy and hopefully soon the economy will turn around.

This election is important. No matter who you are supporting, we as a nation need to choose the right character and person to lead the country in the right direction. I have yet to make a decision. I am stuck in the middle of the issues and see the negatives and positives on both sides.

If McCain had not showed up to the debate tonight that would have been it for me. I would have then voted Obama. Now I am still split.

Tonight if you are interested in watching the debate you will be able to watch from anywhere in the world on http://www.mpbonline.org also with the live stream there will be a live chat where you can join in on the debate and the discussion.

I hope to see you all tonight I will be moderating the chat as I have been every night this week.
